Project overview
Corvx built a fully AI-driven talent marketplace from the ground up, a platform where businesses find and hire on-demand engineering teams through conversational bots, NLP-powered job matching, and automated milestone management. The platform now serves over 50,000 freelancers and can match talent to a job description in under 30 seconds.
About the client
The client is a venture-backed startup that set out to reinvent how companies hire technical talent. Traditional freelance platforms rely on manual browsing, keyword search, and lengthy proposal cycles. The founder wanted something radically different: a platform where AI handles the matching, onboarding, and even dispute resolution, so both clients and freelancers can focus on the actual work.

Matching at Scale
With 50,000+ freelancer profiles and highly varied job descriptions, traditional keyword matching produced poor results. The client needed semantic understanding, matching skills, experience, availability, and even communication style.

Conversational Onboarding
Both freelancers and companies needed to be onboarded through a natural, chat-like experience, not forms. This meant building conversational AI that could gather structured data from unstructured conversation.

Milestones, escrow payments, and disputes needed an automated workflow engine with clear handoffs and human escalation when needed.

How we solved it
NLP-Powered Talent Matching
We built custom NLP models that parse job descriptions into structured skill graphs and match them against enriched freelancer profiles. The system considers not just skills but experience depth, timezone, availability, and past performance scores. Matching happens in under 30 seconds.
Conversational Onboarding Bots
AI-powered chatbots guide both freelancers and companies through onboarding. For freelancers: skills, experience, portfolio, and availability. For companies: project scope, budget, timeline, and must-have requirements. All captured conversationally and stored as structured data.
Automated Engagement Management
An end-to-end workflow engine handles milestone creation, escrow funding, deliverable review, payment release, and dispute resolution, with human escalation only when the AI's confidence drops below threshold.

The platform launched with matching, onboarding, and engagement workflows in place. It generates qualified candidate shortlists for companies in under 30 seconds.
