Questions people usually ask
On-device AI runs a model on the phone rather than sending every request to the cloud. That can reduce network delay, support offline work, and keep some data local. We choose it when those benefits matter to the product, then measure the effect instead of promising a fixed retention gain.
PUX is intent-based navigation and interaction design. The app uses known signals to make a likely next step easier to reach, while keeping the user in control. We test it against task completion and error rates.
We choose a shared codebase when it fits the product, then keep platform-specific code where the experience needs it. That can reduce duplicated work, but the right choice depends on device features, performance needs, and the teams who will maintain it.
These are design patterns for keeping selected user data on the device and making transfers explicit. They can support a privacy review, but they do not make an app compliant by themselves. The data flow still needs to be checked against the markets and rules that apply.
It means reducing unnecessary work on the device, limiting network calls, and measuring the effect on battery and performance. We treat it as an engineering constraint, not a guarantee about store rankings or carbon impact.
